Here is a vintage illustration of a Cedar Waxwing perched on a fruiting branch of a cherry tree. Information included on the page indicates that the length of the Cedar Waxwing measures between 6.50 and 7.25 inches.
Here is a black and white clip art version of the beautiful bird from the page.
I scanned the original page from Birdcraft by Mabel Osgood Wright, 1897. The illustration is by Louis Agassiz Fuertes.

Lovely thank you
Sally
I really appreciate you sharing so many of these pictures for free. My mother has stage 2 dementia/Alzheimer’s and being an artist she loves to still try to be crafty. Having these images available for her to color in is VERY calming and therapeutic. They are WAY BETTER than any of those ‘adult coloring books’ that are all the rage right now. These are more suitable for her age.
Anyway, a BIG THANK YOU!

Sally, it warms my heart to hear that the images bring joy to your ailing mother.
