Here is a magnificent vintage illustration of a beautiful strong lion standing on a grassy slope. There are plants with red leaves growing in the grass and a palm tree in the background. A brief description of lions is included at the bottom of the page. The image is from Little Folks Natural History that was published by McLoughlin Bros. in 1902.
