I wish to find out which “Constitution” ship this engraving is of. My ancestors came out to Australia(Adelaide) from England in 1851. This ship was built in Quebec in 1849 and did a number trips from England to Australia and returned to England via Peru with backloads of Guvavo to England.
The other ship named “Constitution’ was the American ship which was known as “Old Ironsides’ which was a warship.
There a no records or pictures of the Constitution which did the England Australia run. Can anybody tell me which ship this is?
