Here is a vintage catalogue page of toys. Included on the page is a stuffed cow, a stuffed horse and a stuffed dog. The stuffed animals are on wheels and range in price from $1.19 to $4.98. There are three toy stock farms on the page, ranging in price from 51 cents to $1.98. A toy horse pulling a wagon cost $1.00 and a toy horse pulling a milk wagon was $1.37. A Noah’s ark set was available and the number of animals you purchased for the ark determined the price of the set. With twenty animals the set cost 15 cents, with forty animals the set cost 29 cents and with fifty-nine animals the set cost 45 cents. There are six toy banks on the page, ranging in price from 23 cents to $1.59. The page is from the 1916 Sears Roebuck and Co. winter catalogue.

hi Julie – so fun to see these vintage toys! I’m nearly 70 – so I’m vintage, too. lol When I was 3 or 4 my family bought me a tin cash register – more modern (for 1957 or so) looking than the ones pictured here. I sure wish I still had it. Sadly, it disappeared at some point. Someone else must have been able to enjoy it. 😀

I’m vintage too, Bev. ?
I’m sorry to hear that your wonderful cash register went missing.
