Here is a vintage clip art image of a beautiful soup tureen. The description in the catalogue I scanned the original image from is, “Quadruple Plate Bright Finish Soup Tureen, a large and pretty fluted pattern, embossed cover, 10 in. high.” The cost was $4.75. The illustration is from the Koch & Co. Spring and Summer 1898 Catalogue.
