Here is an aged front cover of a Steadmans’ Graded Lessons in Writing booklet that was published by the American Book Company in the early 1900s. This booklet was printed for students to practice penmanship skills.
I have been searching for this book for many years. My great-grandfather wrote this. He was the director of penmanship for the Cincinnati schools until his death. Is this for sale by any chance?
I have one of these. It has a 7 instead of 2 on the corners but it is very old and wasnt actually written in. I can send pictures to you personally if your interested at all.

What a lovely old book — may have to start working on my penmanship again. Thx
I’m impressed that you do penmanship Elaine. It’s such beautiful work but I sadly think it’s a dying art.

That is very interesting, Patty! I’m sorry the booklet isn’t for sale, but please know it is treasured.
