Here is an interesting antique catalogue advertisement for a Henderson New Horse Lawn Mower. The ad claims that this new mower will leave the surface of the lawn as smooth as velvet. I’m guessing the man riding the mower takes the job seriously since he’s dressed in a suit and not just any old pair of denim overalls.
