In Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving in October but I’m sending warm wishes for a very Happy Thanksgiving to my neighbors in the United States who are celebrating today!
Here are three vintage Thanksgiving themed bridge tally cards. The scene on the first card shows a pilgrim couple walking a path through the woods. The woman is carrying a book that I’m assuming is a bible and the man is carrying a gun. A turkey is at the edge of the path, watching the couple go by.
The image on the second card is of the man carrying home a dead turkey strapped to the barrel of the gun he is carrying over his shoulder. From the open door of their cozy cabin, the woman is watching the man arrive home.
The scene on the third tally card includes the woman bringing the cooked turkey, on a platter, to a wooden table where the man is sitting.
The scoring details on the inside of each tally card are identical but since the shape of each card is different, and you may want to match them up, I’m including the scans of the three inner sections of the cards.
