This grungy, aged and yellowed vintage cookbook page includes an old fashioned recipe for Christmas Plum Pudding. I scanned the page from Mrs. Beeton’s Book of Household Management, circa 1888.

Thank you for the recipe – do you like Christmas Pudding? I don’t like Christmas Pudding, Cake or mince pies, but I do love turkey!
When I was young, one of my grandmas would make Christmas pudding. It had some kind of sauce over it and in my memory it was delicious. I really would love to try it again one day and see if I enjoy it as much today as I did back then. I don’t remember trying mince pies and I do love turkey as well!
