This unique vintage brooch is a decorated heart shape with outstretched wings attached to the front by a colored stone. The image is from the H. O’Neill & Co. 1897-8 Fall & Winter Fashion Catalogue. The catalogue description for this piece of Victorian jewelry is: Sterling Silver Hand Chased Brooch, set with colored stone, $1.25.
