When Ken arrived home from work this afternoon he told me their secretary didn’t come in to work today. She didn’t call in sick – she called in to quit. Her husband is one of 15 oil workers in Alberta who pitched in for a lottery ticket that won big this weekend. Each winner will receive approximately $1.6 million! Ken said the secretary and her husband are both really nice people. Sweet!

Do you ever dream about what you would do if you won the lottery? I don’t think my life would change much but I would love to move away from the city. A house on one level in a small town would be nice. I’d buy myself a new vehicle, probably a Hummer, and a new vehicle for Ken (his choice). I’d share with my kids and grandkids and donate some to charity.
