The words I would use to describe this vintage French cheque are: old, antique, grungy, shabby, used, aged, faded, imperfect, worn and wrinkled. These words would adequately describe what I love about this wonderful piece of vintage French ephemera although I do love the gorgeous swirl motif on the left as well!

Thank you for the lovely receipts, just what I needed for my French themed journal. They are gorgeous. I will print them on tracing paper back to front so that the printer ink doesn’t smudge if I use distress inks etc.
