I chose to scan this beautiful antique German floral postcard this morning because the colors are wonderful for fall projects! I think the printed message on the top left is a bible verse but the Google translation (most likely due to my errors in trying to spell each word correctly) wasn’t very smooth. For example, one of my tries resulted in this translation: “tasteth and see how friendly is probably the lord of the aul he trusts”! If you can provide a correct translation for the rest of us, please feel welcome to do so.
It wasn’t until after I had this vintage postcard ready to upload that I did a Google translation of the message on the lower left and discovered that this is actually a New Year’s postcard. The translation is: “warm wishes for the new year blessing”.

The translation is, “Taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the one who trusts in Him.” It is the Bible verse Psalm 34:8. Thanks for the beautiful image! I plan on using it as a New Year’s Card for my in-laws in Germany!
