  1. I wanted to say thank you for these precious images! I’m helping plan & decorate a vintage baby shower (for a little girl, as it turns out… they announced it today!) and I’ll keep these in mind!! I also pinned them to our Pinterest board dedicated to ideas for the shower 🙂 Thanks for the extra care to offer the images at their best quality!!

  2. You’re welcome, Megan – and thank you for pinning them!

I love these images so much that my heart skipped a beat when I saw them as I was flipping through one of my old magazines yesterday. I got right to work on the images and was so excited to add them to my blog this morning because I was sure someone out there would enjoy them as much as I do. 🙂 It must be sooooo much fun to help plan and decorate a vintage baby shower!

I know that whatever you create for it will be gorgeous!

  3. I love these. I am learning to design digital scrapbook supplies and have been participating in some blog trains…where each of us put them on our blogs and people can download several minikits from individual designers that all have the same color palette. I would love to design a kit for babies using these elements. I know the images are in the public domain, but it is ok if I use these from your site. In other words…are your public domain images free for any use, personal or cu?

  4. Hi Connie,

My images can be used for personal and/or commercial use. If you’d care to share, I would love to see your scrapbook kit! I love scrapbooking – just wish I had more time to devote to it. Have fun!

  5. These are simply gorgeous- thank you! I was looking for old-fashioned baby pictures to use for family tree “photos” for babies (who probably never had a photo taken, and died in infancy). Yu have such beautiful images here – thanks for sharing:)

  8. Thank you for these nice baby pictures..love them all..can you tell me how i can print them..not too good in computer. I want to make baby cards and to use the mom and child for mothers day card.
    Thank you again..hugs.

    1. Vi, once you download the images, you can easily drag them onto a Word doc (or copy/paste), then re-size them on your page and print it 😉

  9. I’m happy to know that so many of you are enjoying these baby images.

Vi, I’m afraid I’m not much help with the printing as there are so many different printers. You may find it helpful to do an online search for a web tutorial or a video tutorial that could help you with your specific brand of printer.

  10. Thank you so much, for the sleeping baby illustration. I am using it in a post. With a click-able link back here, of course.

  11. These are wonderful, Thank you!
I will be using the baby with the rattle on my logo (sleep consulting biz, but my name is about a happy and rested baby) and I plan to leave a link to this site for my customers to view the entire series, and be able to use for themselves as well.
    Beautiful, thanks again!

    1. Hi Elise,

I’m happy to know that you’ll be able to use the baby with the rattle for your logo.
Thank you for sharing a link back to my blog. It’s much appreciated. ?

  12. May I use one of these beautiful images for an article I am writing for “medium”? Just want to confirm that they are free for use.
How do I credit the image?

    Thank you

    1. Hi Caroline,

You’re welcome to use the images for the article you are writing. They are free to use. Credit to The Old Design Shop is much appreciated.

  13. Thank you so much for these adorable baby illustrations!
May I use these beautiful images to make cross stitch patterns? And if I will like the outcome, can I sell these patterns ( with direct link to Your images, of course) ?

    1. You’re welcome, Diana. You may use the baby illustrations to make cross stitch patterns, and sell the patterns if you wish. Have a lovely day! ?
