In a blog post I wrote in December 2011, I mentioned that I was looking for a particular vintage Ellen Clapsaddle Thanksgiving postcard. That postcard includes an adorable young girl, in a red dress and white pinafore, holding a wooden spoon. On shelving behind her are two large pies, a covered sugar bowl, a pitcher and a jar of mincemeat.
I haven’t been looking for the postcard constantly since December 2011 but I recently happened to come across an original that was available to purchase! It arrived in the mail yesterday and I’m delighted to have it to share with you here this morning! For additional creative options, here is a version without the writing. Click on images to enlarge.
