The words I would use to describe this vintage French cheque are: old, antique, grungy, shabby, used, aged, faded, imperfect, worn and wrinkled. These words would adequately describe what I love about this wonderful piece of vintage French ephemera although I do love the gorgeous swirl motif on the left as well!
